Synopsis
TWO SUNS IN THE SUNSET is a video essay focusing on topics of existence, coming as a direct reflection from the almost three-year span of the pandemic, when the very survival of human beings was in question. The parallelism between the actual sun in the sunset and the subject as a “point of view” also in the sunset, suggests the uniqueness and irreversible value of any runaway life. The video is crossed by two storylines firmly interlaced with each other; the one pessimistic, fatalistic, and more aggressive (sound), while the other with a trivial, almost imperceptible aura of romanticism (video and title), thus implying contradictory perceptions that have accompanied the ultimate act of existence throughout human history.
